Peptide Dose & Reconstitution Calculator

Free peptide dose calculator and peptide reconstitution calculator. Convert user-entered mg or mcg to mL and syringe units, including blends and doses per vial.

Inputs and outputs

Enter the total amount stated on the vial, the known final liquid volume in milliliters, and an amount you already intend to calculate in mg or mcg. Select the scale printed on the syringe. The calculator returns concentration in mg/mL, draw volume in mL, syringe units, the estimated number of equal portions in the vial, and optional cost per portion. Blend mode divides a combined vial by the entered component ratios while keeping the same total-volume arithmetic.

Reconstitution formula

Concentration (mg/mL) = total vial mg ÷ liquid volume mL. Draw volume (mL) = entered amount mg ÷ concentration mg/mL. Syringe units = draw volume × the syringe scale. On U-100, 100 units represents 1 mL; other scales use a different number of units per mL.

Hypothetical example

If a hypothetical 5 mg vial had a verified final volume of 2 mL, the concentration would be 2.5 mg/mL. An entered 0.25 mg amount would occupy 0.1 mL, which corresponds to 10 units on U-100. This invented example demonstrates the formula and is not a suggested amount or preparation instruction.

Common calculation errors

  • Treating total vial mg as though it were mg/mL.
  • Entering mcg as mg without dividing by 1,000.
  • Assuming every insulin-style syringe is U-100.
  • Using water added when the verified final volume differs.
  • Rounding intermediate values before the final result.

Frequently asked questions

Are syringe units the same as milligrams?

No. Syringe units mark volume. Milligrams and micrograms measure mass, so concentration is required to connect them.

Can this calculator tell me what amount to use?

No. It only converts values you enter and never recommends an amount or schedule.

Does adding more liquid change the total vial mass?

No. It changes concentration and represented volume for a selected mass; the calculator does not choose a liquid volume.

Can the calculator verify a vial?

No. It cannot verify identity, potency, sterility, stability, or the accuracy of a label.

Why does syringe scale matter?

The units-per-mL value differs by syringe scale, so select the scale printed on the syringe being reviewed.
